If it's a wireless issue, then I can't help you. Once that's all done you can just open the game with the keyboard, skip the intro with enter, for instance, then pick up your guitar and you should expect it to always work.
Then we just need to have the controller configured to keyboard keys instead, you can easily achieve that through XPadder. Given we don't use a 360 controller we don't want the controller layout, so make sure when you start the game that the first key you press is a keyboard key. GH3 has two "modes", if the first key press is on the keyboard, then it loads the keyboard layout to play with, if the first key press is on the controller, then it loads the 360 controller layout to play with. There's a problem, though, GH3 PC isn't compatible with PS2 guitars, take that as you may, you can't simply connect your guitar and expect it to work (you'll need a 360 guitar for that instead).īut it's PC, we can customize everything, so we can easily make this work. My favorite guitar is the wired PS2 Gibson SG, so it's always what I use for playing GH on PC. I would recommend grabbing a 360 guitar, they work great. Then to make sure it wasn't just GH3 I tried it in Feedback, look at this now that obviously wasn't going to work even with a working guitar. I used the disk of drivers the cord came with and in the end I just installed every single driver on the disk, it didn't help the problem, my computer did not want to use this guitar. Starting up GH3 my guitar did absolutely nothing. I switched those out with some new ones, and then everything was responding well. I actually don't know what it was doing but when that was finished I right away saw that my wireless receiver was receiving power (its a wireless guitar) but it had a blinking light which meant the guitar wasn't working, after some tiddling I found exploded batteries in it.
